The Vth International Conference on Forensic Study of Weapons will take place at the Saratov State University from October, 11 till October, 13th, 2011. SBC Company is one of the conference organizers. The conference will present reports on actual problems of forensic examination of firearms, ammunition and marks and impressions left on fired bullets and cartridge cases.

April 2011 - SBC company has been invited and actively participated in the The Odyssey projects final dissemination event, held at the Royal Military Academy headquarters in Brussels. The main goal of the Odyssey Project is the development of a secure interoperable platform for automated information analysis to combat organized crime and terrorism

At the meeting spoke the Project coordinator Simeon Yates and representatives of organizations-members of the Odyssey Project consortium, who described the basic problems and results in project implementation and researches, presented the ballistics intelligence platform's third prototype, substantiate the need for further work in this area, and also discussed the formation of new EU Internal Security Strategy.

March 2011 - SBC company won the tender to supply three systems POISC-U in the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau, Moldova.

October, 28-29, St. Petersburg - On the basis of the Foreign Department of the St. Petersburg State University of Ministry of Internal Affairs the SBC Company has organized a workshop with the representatives of the investigation departments of the CIS countries on the topic: "Using the results of ballistic examination in the investigative activities of police agencies."
